Portfolio Creation Process

What do you think about the process of creating your portfolio (s)?
After going through the process of creating a portfolio (For the third time) I've decided I should really just keep an up to date binder portfolio as I go. It would probably be beneficial.

What do you feel about the the tools - comparing InDesign to Website (Wix or Wordpress)?
They're totally different tools. The website is for use on a computer and things are set up so you can click on the images so everything is streamlined. Whereas I feel like InDesign is more for print and I thought more about creating a printed book. The website was generally easier too because everything is already in a template for you.

What were your biggest challenges and how did you overcome them?
Nothing was really new at this point and I didn't run into an major challenges.

What was your favorite aspect of creating the portfolios?
Probably seeing the finished product. It was really cool to see my work organized and displayed in a professional way.

Do you think your portfolio is successful? Why or why not?
Not really. It needs a lot of work. I still don't have lesson plans and a solid teaching philosophy.

How do you think your portfolio will change as you approach graduation and the job application process?
It will be much more complete. I will probably put everything in a binder as well. I am also hoping that it is much more full as well.
