For each video, what was discussed that  you think will be the most helpful in creating your Digital Portfolio?

The trick to make a grid by using the rectangle frame tool and the right arrow key is kinda neat. Although I'm not sure that I will use it. I will have to play with the layout and size of the document a bit, like he shows in the beginning of the video. It is helpful to remember that you can change what type of format the document will be used in whether its a web document or intended to be printed.

This video talks about Adobe Bridge. I'm not sure if our computer lab has this, but it seems like a good tool. I also like that he puts photos in the frames that he added in the first video and then shows how he fits them to the frames. I don't usually think to do these things and end up creating more work for myself.

I'm going to just keep this video handy, because it explains how to make buttons and destinations by clicking on stuff in the index. It seems like most of it is under "windows" "interactive" "buttons" or "hyperlink".

What challenges did you encounter while creating your portolio and how did you over come them?
The ONLY thing I couldn't get to work was grouping objects together. It never works for me and I don't know why... So I just dealt with it and held shift while clicking the objects that I needed.

What do you think of your finished portfolio?
I like it quite a bit! It looks really fancy. Although it probably would cost a fortune to print and if I was interviewing I would need a few copies so I don't know how realistic it is?

What is the topic of your presentation, what age group is it geared to and why did you select that?

The topic of my presentation is cropping and resizing an image on Photoshop. It's directed toward anyone learning how to use Photoshop. It's definitely a beginner lesson.

Did you encounter any challenges when creating this presentation? Please describe them and how you overcame them.

The format of the Prezi templates is really awkward for a lesson on anything. I sorta just went with it and hoped for the best. 

What did you enjoy the most about this project and why? The least? and why?

Prezi looks cool and its aesthetically more interesting than PowerPoint, but I didn't like being stuck in the template.

How does Prezi compare to PowerPoint? 

It's very similar but I like PowerPoint for being straightforward and efficient.

What is the theme of your presentation and why did you select that?

I selected the Roycroft and the Arts and Crafts movement. I chose it because I grew up around East Aurora and it's just a really cool piece of local history that I'm often inspired by in my own work.

Did you encounter any challenges when creating this presentation? Please describe them and how you overcame them.

I really didn't encounter any challenges, I've been working with PowerPoint for a long time.

What did you enjoy the most about this project and why? The least? and why?

I think I will enjoy sharing the information and doing the actual presentation. I love telling people about the Roycroft.

Do you think you will use tools like PowerPoint in your art classroom? Why or why not?

I'm sure! it's a great way to present a project to kids. It's a good way to keep the teacher on track and also share pictures and information with students.
